Nashville is replacing a missed pavement survey and a 2018 sign inventory with current data on every road.

Nashville, TN721,000 residents

NDOT now has fresh condition data it can check on every road in Davidson County, the base for a five-year paving plan for the Metro Council.

Metro Nashville's transportation department (NDOT) missed its last pavement survey, and its last full sign inventory dated from 2018. Staff wanted fresh data they could check on every road in Davidson County.

Cyvl is giving all 2,550 miles a pavement score and mapping signs, curb ramps and traffic signal cabinets, with street photos and 3D views of every road. NDOT staff review each part of the county as it arrives. Next, NDOT will use Cyvl's planning tool to build a five-year paving plan for the Metro Council.
