Staff and aldermen will compare every street across all 14 wards on one standard score.

14 wards
of paving to plan from one set of comparable scores

St. Louis has about 1,000 miles of streets, and it has planned paving across 14 wards. As the city stands up a new Transportation Department, it wanted one standard pavement score for every street, so any two streets can be compared.

The city chose Cyvl to deliver that citywide. Every street will get a standard pavement score, measured in 30-foot sections with each defect mapped and backed by street photos, along with a map of sidewalks and curb ramps. With one set of scores, staff and aldermen can compare streets across wards and plan paving for the whole city.
