La Grande cut its road survey field time to a tenth and now answers road complaints with a map.

La Grande's crews used to rate roads by hand, about a fifth of the town each year. The public works director found those ratings hard to defend, and paving lists leaned on complaints and old PAVER data that only he could use.

Cyvl now gives every street a pavement score, with photos behind each one. Field time dropped to about a tenth of what it was. During budget season, the director used the AI assistant to pull the worst roads and check them against the paving list. He showed the map at a town hall, and now pulls it up when someone says their road is the worst.
