MUTCD
MUTCD, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, is a compilation of national standards for the design, installation, and use of all traffic control devices, including traffic signs, road markings, and signals. The MUTCD is issued by the Federal Highway Administration of the U.S. Department of Transportation and updated periodically to accommodate changing transportation needs and address new safety technologies, traffic control tools, and traffic management techniques.
