Why we built Executive Snapshots
Across public works, the people who decide infrastructure budgets — mayors, city councils, town managers — almost never touch the software that holds the data. The status quo is a scramble: a staff engineer or outside consultant spends hours, sometimes days, pulling numbers into a spreadsheet and dressing them up in slides for one meeting. By the time the report reaches the room it is already dated, it cost real staff time to build, and it shows a fraction of what the underlying data actually holds.
How they work
You pick one of ten templates, answer a few questions, and that's it — a report is built from your live data in minutes. Tweak it natively in the CYVL Platform, then export it as PNG, PDF, or PPTX. Our Public Works Assistant chatbot is now smart enough to notice reporting opportunities directly from your conversations and offer to build the snapshot for you.
